Leon Jeanne facing long ban from football

Jeanne was random tested and that sample has been sent to London for analysis. The player then refused to give a second sample and that is considered to be a failed test.

Jeanne will now face an FAW enquiry for his actions. He is currently serving a suspended sentence and could find himself on the end of a long ban by the FAW.

Cardiff City have refused to take any action until the full testing prosses and the FAW enquiry have taken place.

Jeanne has spent time in the Priory Clinic after testing positive for a class A drug last year. He was banned for two years but that was suspended provided he met certain conditions. This current breach of those conditions could mark the end of the players career.

Jeanne last played for City in the 1 - 0 FAW Cup final win ver Swansea two weeks ago.
