Malky Mackay has admitted that Cardiff have made an enquiry about Nottingham Forest defender Luke Chambers.

"We have asked about Luke Chambers but got no further so far." the City boss said today.

Chambers, 25, is a highly rated defender who has played over 160 games for Forest since his move from Northampton Town in 2007.
