malky44Malky Mackay post match reaction:

"We are disappointed with the late goal and the fact we have lost three points with 30 seconds to go.

"It's human nature that it became a backs-to-the-wall job. With a couple of minutes to go, they threw caution to the wind.

"Coventry are a team who have only been beaten once in eight games so they have a resilience. They are fighting for their lives, but we have to cut out the errors.

"We are one point outside the play-offs at the moment, but we have only lost one game in five now. There were a lot of good parts in our play - there is no fear factor.

"There are a lot of teams going to be involved and results which are raising eyebrows.

"Six or seven teams are desperately looking for consistency and we're all in the same boat. We're desperate to get into the play-offs."

Coventry boss Andy Thorn said: "We had to change a lot of things at half-time. In fact, I was pleased to get in at just 1-0 down.

"I spoke to the players and told them to go out, play football and enjoy themselves.

"I'm delighted and proud with the way we came back in the second half. We missed a penalty and had other chances before Jordan scored.

"One of my analysts said that Cardiff concede a lot of goals in the last 15 minutes of games so the players had to keep going. But I didn't expect it to come that late.

"We are pleased to pick up points in two big away games. We have shown we will fight all the way."
