Man Utd linked with Aaron Ramsey

OK we've heard it all before about players going here there and everywhere but this rumour does contain a quote from Peter Ridsdale that man Utd have asked about Ramsey.
Manchster Utd manager Sir Alex Fergusson has made an enquiry about Aaron Ramsey. City's young midfielder is growing himself a reputation after a string of good performances.

City's young starlets are always liked with someone but this time Peter Ridsdale has confirmed Fergusson did enquire.

"Sir Alex Ferguson did make a telephone call to Dave Jones but that is the only contact of any sort," said Ridsdale. "It was no more than a call to ask what the youngster is like. We know of course there is strong interest in Aaron among a number of Premier League clubs but nobody has made any sort of offer and we certainly have not agreed anything."
