Cardiff City boss Steve Morison:

"We weren't good enough in the final third. We dominated the game but couldn't put the ball in the net.

"It is another game we should have got something out of, but that's where we are at the minute.

"We went toe-to-toe with Blackburn, but they had that moment of quality which we didn't have.

"The boys need help. We need to be better in the final third.

"Like I said to the players in there, 'Don't make me go and get someone for the final third from elsewhere'."

Blackburn Rovers boss Tony Mowbray:

"For the first 20 minutes I felt as though we were in control, moving the ball around, looked confident, scored a great goal.

We were here in lockdown last year and I think that's probably why it affected the official today with all his bookings.

"Because there is no roar from the crowd, there's nothing to drown out the bench when they're screaming after every tackle. The referee reacted I think and got a bit wrapped up in it.

"I don't get excited because I know how tough this league is. The next game is always there ready to bite you on the backside."
