Manager's comments after City beaten by Wednesday

"When you get your chances you have got to put them away at this stage of the season. We really should have come away with something but they had two chances and scored.

"We are only three points off sixth place but it makes it more frustrating when the teams around you lose and you lose as well. We are being given the opportunities but not taking them.

I don't think it's a game we should have lost. We don't seem to have our shooting boots on at the moment, and it is the wrong time of season to have a little dip in form."

Brian Laws (on the possibility of making the play offs)

"It is highly unlikely but while it is mathematically possible we will have a go at it. Our away record is phenomenal and if we can match it at home you never know.

"At the moment nobody has switched off and nobody is on holiday. At this stage of the season sometimes players tend to dip in form, but our players have actually stepped up their game."
