Dave Jones

"The lad (Fagan) jumped up and ran at him (Purse) and in today's game there's no need for it," complained Jones.

"Although Darren has tackled him from behind I'm not sure it was a yellow card and maybe the referee wasn't going to give it.

"It was a sloppy sending-off and I wasn't happy with Darren. The first yellow card (a first-half foul also on Fagan) was right but you only have to touch someone now and they go down like who knows what.

"Good luck to him (Fagan). He made something happen but what comes around goes around."

Peter Taylor

"We needed it and I was really pleased because we have worked very hard and did not drop our heads even though we've not been playing with that much confidence.

"In the first half we could have done better but we improved a bit in the second half and that first goal obviously gave us confidence.

"It was an important victory and it would be lovely if we could go on a little run now and build on that win."
