Lennie Lawrence

"This is the most difficult time I have experienced since I have been at the club.

"We are a shadow of the team we once were. I thought I had turned things around after last week's draw at Forest, but we looked petrified all night.

"Every game is now huge until we get that win. The players have to look at themselves and I have to do whatever I can.

"Once again we went to sleep for their first goal, and we have the most amazing lapses of concentration during games, which is costing us dearly. All in all it was a really bad night for us."

Ray Lewington

"I was very pleased with our disciplined performance, and everyone played their part.

"Danny will get most of the plaudits, but all the players worked hard, and we never lacked in effort or teamwork.

"Cardiff have good players, but they are lacking in confidence and you could see it in their faces. We knew that if we started well we would be on our way, and that's it how it happened."
