"I thought that was probably a fair result on the balance of play and on the stats that we got.

"I couldn't have asked for much more from my boys. Cardiff are a good team.

"When you are two up and then they nick one, I needed us to have a little bit more belief.

"In the fact that when they are attacking us and going for it, we can't stop them and pick our next pass out.

"So there were a few points I had to make (to the players after the game) but they were all delivered very calmly. I have to say that I will take a point.

"I don't feel as bad as they felt when they were 3-0 up with 20 minutes to go last year.

"That's just life isn't it. There were two good teams out there."

"We are pleased to come out with a point, but we were our own worst enemies earlier in the game.

"We did not start well and it took a kick up the backside like Plymouth scoring their second goal to make us lift the game.

"It was then we started moving the ball quicker and with more accuracy.

"But we have come out with a good point. Robbie Fowler and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink played a part in our goals.

"We conceded two sloppy goals. The first because we did not challenge properly and the second goal hurt us even more.

"Thankfully, it proved to be the goal which sparked us back into life.

"Robbie did not start because he had been suffering with his back all week.

"When we went 2-0 down it was the time to go for it.

"His back felt a lot easier when he got up this morning and that was obvious when we saw him out there."
