"I think it's disappointing because, when we got back on level terms, I think if we'd really pushed on and cracked the whip we would have probably frightened the living daylights out of them.

"It doesn't matter what level you play at or wherever you are in the division, you can't give the goals away that we did. The three goals we conceded were sloppy, sloppy goals, you can't blame one person, but they should be stopped.

"It's been a long, hard slog for us and on the one hand I'm having a go at my players and on the next I've got to praise them because it shows you how far we've come, where we are, but it also shows you how far we've got to go."

"This was a massive game for. It was very important and we were under a lot of pressure but we came up trumps.

"Everyone stood firm against a good Cardiff side with some very experienced players and we deserved the win which pushes us three points nearer safety.

"We have still got a bit to do but Millwall losing helps us and I would say we are in a strong position now. But we have to go to Brighton and carry on the good work."
