"We started okay and then got battered for half an hour but thanks to our `keeper we were kept in the game. We had stood off them and they played around us, causing us problems.

"But I felt in the second half we were the better team and deserved our goal.

"We have stopped the rot after a couple of defeats but we are not out of it by any means."

"We need one more victory to be safe but the fact we earned a draw here after being battered in the first half feels like a win. It's a massive boost that we've moved above Crewe and it was vitally important that we didn't get beaten."

Craig Levein

"I can only think the referee saw the incident from a different angle and mistakenly thought Nikos had played the man instead of the ball. From where I was standing it certainly looked as though Nikos had got the ball."

"I didn't think a draw was a fair result. I thought we had played excellently and even when down to 10 men we still had a couple of fair chances.

"We've got 50 points now and with one more win we will definitely be safe."
