"Brighton came here and played with two banks of four in front of their keeper and we had to break them down.

"I needed to change things but, because of the stage this club is at, I was unable to do that. I can't fault my players. Everyone worked hard tonight.

"But we need something different and we haven't got that yet. We need more players and we need different types of players.

"I didn't have a striker on the bench. How can I change it? How can I do something different?

"The midfielders on the bench do the same job as the midfielders on the pitch. These are the limits we're working in. It's frustrating but we have to accept it. That's the stage this club is at."

Mark McGee (reflecting on early substitutions)

"The changes did cause a big disruption but we coped well with those changes.

"It was unfortunate that we had to put Alexandre Frutos at full-back and that restricted our chances of going forward. We could have won it in the end but I am more than happy with the draw."
