Wolves have made a new offer to the left sided player but the press are certain he's a top target for Dave Jones.
Meanwhile Kevin Cooper is back in South Wales after a family holiday and is working hard to be fitter and stronger at the start of the season.
Cooper had operations on his knees last season and is still on the road to full fitness
"I had operations on my knees last season and I feel a lot better now," he told the official website. "There is still a bit of strength work to do, but I'm feeling in good shape."
There's no confirmed news yet on Jason Koumas or Kerrea Gilbert but it's understood talks over Koumas are ongoing.
