Match officials for City v Newcastle

Last updated : 11 September 2009 By Michael Morris
You may remember Mr Hall as the official that allowed so much added on time at Reading last Christmas. City were denied victory when keeper Adam Federici scored with the last kick of the game to earn the Royals a point.

He did do us a favour though in March when awarding Cardiff an injury time penalty at home to Watford, Ross McCormack scored to give City a 2 - 1 home win.

The assistants on Sunday are A Hutchinson and E Smith. The 4th official is G Scott.

Looking back through Hall's career his earliest City game was back in November 1997, a 1 - 1 home draw with Torquay Utd. The crowd that day was 2,797. It will be nearly 10 times that amount on Sunday.
