"I am looking forward to the Cardiff game a lot. It is always interesting to play your old club and they are a much changed side this season," said the winger.

Jobi McAnuff will come face to face with his former employers at Selhurst Park tomorrow.

"I got on really well with their striker Cameron Jerome in particular and I am pleased for him that he has made such a great start to the season. He is still only young and is happy to continue to do well at Cardiff and learn a lot even though there were clubs trying to sign him before Tuesday's transfer deadline.

"Cameron is quite a big threat, being strong and with a good eye for goal, so we will have to keep a close watch on him along with Jason Koumas who has been in fine form, so we must keep him quiet as well.

"I also got on well with Cardiff 's right-back, Rhys Weston, who was a very good player at Arsenal as a youngster. I will be playing on the left side, if selected, of course, so it will be interesting."
