McCormack has Premier League ambition

"I am happy to stay at Cardiff but the chairman has said everyone has a price and if someone is willing to pay the money he thinks I'm worth, then that is up to the chairman. Everyone wants to play in the Premiership and I am no different.

"A lot of people doubted me, saying maybe I wasn't good enough for Rangers, I wasn't good enough for Scotland but I think I've proved a few people wrong by playing for Scotland.

"Obviously I would like to give the Premiership a chance and believe I could nick some goals there as well."

At least he's being honest. We've seen enough players jump ship over the years after declaring their love for the club. Ross is an ambitious young man. Let's hope he can get to the Premier League but with City. Another 22 goal haul next season could go a long way towards that.
