McNaughton looking to bounce back from lowest point

City suffered back to back away defeats at Watford and Bristol City but have the chance to make ammends this evening.

"Our defenders have taken a beating, but we've licked our wounds and we have to show a bit of spirit," insisted McNaughton ahead of tonight's game with Leeds Utd..

"The atmosphere in the changing room at Bristol City was the lowest it's been this season.

"But the big thing is we are fired up to bounce back quickly.

"We are still in a decent position, but we have to pick things up and stay as positive as possible.

"The longer it (the bad run) goes on the more pressure we put on ourselves and over the last few weeks perhaps that pressure has been showing.

"We haven't played as a team and the errors we have made have cost us.

"We have to play better as a unit and get back to basics.

"At Bristol City, we were defensively a wee bit all over the shop, but we have watched the video of the game and can put things right.

"We are getting beaten too easily at the moment and we know we've got to work hard to get the result against Leeds."

McNaughton may switch to left back this evenig with Adam Matthews coming in at right back. Dave Jones has to do something as Lee Naylor was getting hammered at both Vicarage Rd and Ashton Gate.
