The protracted transfer saga has been running for a number of weeks with media reports of possible loan deals, then outright purchase and now payment plans.
A deal of around 9m euro is thought to be under negotiation with the terms of payment the final sticking point. It's not sure how much of an approach was made by Galatasary who allegedly stepped in with a better offer this week.
It seems unlikely that medel will stay at Cardiff but that option is not fully ruled out. Any dal for less than £11m will see Cardiff losing money on one of the stars of the World Cup.
