Midweek Championship fixtures

Last updated : 03 April 2012 By Michael Morris

Burnley v Birmingham tonight will mean that every team has played 40 games and it could see the Blues take a five point lead over Cardiff if they win.

Just over a week ago Cardiff drew at Birmingham in a game that the Bluebirds were the better side. Tonight Birmingham could strengthen their grip on 4th place and end any faint hopes that Burnley might have of making a late run to the play offs.

Looking ahead we have an Easter weekend of back to back Championship matches starting on Good Friday and runnng through until Tuesday.

Cardiff are at Middlesbrough on Saturday and at home to Watford on Bank Holiday Monday. The regular season will be completed in less than four weeks. Just where did that time go?
