plThe week started with Crystal Palace beating West Ham 1 - 0 on Tuesday evening. But it was on Wednesday when the goal fest really kicked in.

Five goals at West Brom and Southampton, Six goals at Liverpool and seven at Sunderland where Chelsea ran out 4-3 winners.

Luis Suarez scored four as Liverpool beat Norwich 5 - 1 and Everton scored late to beat Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Cardiff's point was worth a two place jump up the table with City now 15th.
