MK Dons v Cardiff City. Match preview

Manager Karl Robinson has some players nursing minor bumps and bruises but nothing that should have an affect on his team selection.

Robinson likes to alternate his midfield and attacking players so Sam Gallagher, Daniel Powell, Josh Murphy, Diego Poyet and Carl Baker will hope to be restored to the starting line-up, although there will not be many changes to the side that lost at Nottingham Forest last weekend.

Defenders Joe Walsh (knee) and Matt Upson (calf) are still not ready for first-team consideration.

Cardiff defender Sean Morrison misses his first Championship game of the season after being ruled out for over a month.

Morrison was forced off in the early stages of Friday's 1-0 defeat at Birmingham and, though Cardiff are waiting for a full report on the 24-year-old's knee injury, they have been told he will be sidelined for between "four to six weeks".

Cardiff had considered recalling Ben Turner from Coventry but he has an ankle problem which may require surgery, so last season's player of the year Bruno Manga will deputise.

Loan striker Tony Watt, who has scored twice in five games, will link up alongside Kenwyne Jones once again with the former Celtic striker expected to complete a £1million move from Charlton in the new year.
