More City players talk to the press

From the South Wales Echo

Centre-half Roger Johnson claimed in yesterday's Echo that the Bluebirds have lacked the desire to secure a top-six spot.

But in a detailed assessment of the current state of affairs at Ninian Park, four members of Dave Jones' team - Paul Parry, Stephen McPhail, Kevin McNaughton and Johnson - spoke to the Echo to pledge one last roll of the dice in City's final four matches of the season, beginning at home to Stoke City on Saturday.

And the message from the quartet - who all concede that City's present form is unacceptable - was loud and clear: 'It ain't over 'til it's over.'

'We've not given up hope just yet and we don't want to be known as a soft touch going into these last four matches of the season,' said Republic of Ireland international McPhail.
