Sean Morrison will miss the next three games after the appeal against his red card v Leeds failed.

Morrison was shown a straight red for a foul on Eddie Nketiah in between City's second and third goals and will now miss the games against Preston H, Millwall H and Sheff Weds A.

He is eligable for the New Years Day game at Q.P.R.

City are assessing a groin injury to Aden Flint which could rule him out of Saturday's live TV game with Preston. Curtis Nelson will start and Neil Harris might have to turn to Sol Bamba if Flint fails to make it. Another option could be to move Lee Peltier into the middle.

Lee Tomlin is not suspended despite receiving a fifth yellow card of the season on the weekend. The threshold for 5 yellow cards ended after 19 games and now he will only be banned if he gets to 10 yellow cards by the 32nd game of the season.
