mowbrayTony Mowbray bring's his Middlesbrough side to Cardiff today intent on playing his strongest XI even though 'boro have nothing left to play for this season. Middlesbrough will finish in the bottom half of the table but are well clear of the bottom three with Scunthorpe, Sheff Utd and Preston already relegeated.

When asked if he would try some of his more inexperienced players at Cardiff City Stadium today he said:

“It’s not a night for the young lads.

“In any case my mentality is to respect all the teams in the promotion race.

“We have to field the strongest team available to us.

“It’s not a game where you test players and in any case it leaves you open to criticism.

“The game against Doncaster, assuming they are mathematically safe by then, is the time to bring in one or two younger players.”
