Neil Alexander gets Scotland call up

Neil Alexander has been called into the Scotland squad for their opening Euro Championship qualifier against the Faroe Islands on Saturday September 7th.

Alexander's chance comes after Tottenham's Neil Sullivan broke a bone in his hand during training. Alexander toured with Scotland in the summer but did not see any action. He joins Celtics Robert Douglas and Dundee Utd's Paul Gallacher as the three goalkeepers in the squad.

Congratulations to Neil. That now means that City have FOUR first team players on full international duty next week and one player in the U21's.
