The last day has seen a number of press reports that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has offered Kevin McNaughton a years extention to his contract.
McNaughton's current deal ends this summer but it's believed Solskjaer has been impressed with the Scottish full back and has put a new deal on the table.
Those with a slightly cynical nature are suggestioning that Ole is preparing for the Championship next season and McNaughton will be a decent option back at that level.
