New kit available by end of July

It's been a long running joke that you were lucky to get your new Cardiff City kit by Christmas in years gone by but this time around the club say it will be available to buy before the end of July.

The design is still secret (I think it will be mainly blue in colour) but according to Julian Jenkins, the media man at NP "it will be the best kit Cardiff City have ever had"

"The new kit will be available by the end of July. That's guaranteed, 100 per cent," he told the Echo.

Also today South Wales band The Automatic have said they'd consider sponsoring a City kit along thie lines of what the Super Furry Animals did 8 years ago.

The Automatics huge hit Monster has seen it's lyrics changed to say Michael Chopra instead of Monster. The band are City fans and singer Rob Hawkins said:

"We are thinking about sponsoring a kit so we could have The Automatic written across the front.

"I know the Super Furry Animals did it as a one-off for a season and if we could do something similar then that would be good."
