New pitch for Ninian park plus other news snippits

The current surface will be dug up and a new one laid in time for the start of next season.

Other changes at Ninian Park include a move for the press box. The current location at the back of the grandstand will become spectator seating while the media folks will be house in front of the directors box.

Peter Thorne was the only player in the squad to play 46 / 46 league games this season. Inc play off and cup games Thorne has played 54 games so far with a 55th coming up on Sunday. Graham Kavanagh is the only other play to reach 50.

City's average attendance this season was 13,049 over 23 league games. That up from 12,522 last season and the highest for 26 years when the 76/77 season produced an average of 12,806.
