Sky and ITV will continue to televise the Football League next season. Sky will televise 70 league games live with 55 of those being from the Championship. They will also cover all the play off matches, LDV Vans trophy games and 15 Carling Cup games.

ITV will continue to have a Championship show on a Sunday as well as regional highlights of the Football League and the Carling Cup.

Football League chairman Brian Mawhinney said

"This tremendous news caps what has been an enormously encouraging season for The Football League. Crowds have increased yet again, as have viewing figures and we are also delivering on the promise we made to increase our clubs' commercial revenues.

"Sky Sports are a class act and this new agreement is recognition of the outstanding entertainment our clubs provide their viewers week-in, week-out throughout the season."

Last season City were live on Sky twice. Both games lost at Ninian Park, let's hope for better this coming season.
