Josh Low is continuing to impress at Oldham, he came on as sub in their friendly against Sheffield Wednesday and looked good according to their official site. Looks like a deal could be on the cards to take Josh to the north west.

Oldham fans will be all blue this coming Saturday with an appeal to firstly outsing the travelling City fans (!) and to turn up bearing the colours of the Latics shirts. See news story here.

Congratulations to James Collins who has been called up unexpectedly for the Wales U-21 squad for a get together later this month in Llanelli. Also called up is a certain Robert Earnshaw, who will hope to be in the squad for the upcoming full Wales internationals against Croatia in Varazdin (friendly Wed 21 Aug) and Finland in Helsinki (Euro 2004 qualifier Sat 7 Sept).
