Nathaniel Mendez-Laing has posted a message of thanks on Instagram after he was injured at Huddersfield.
The City winger collided with Terriers keeper Ben Hamer and suffered a concerning injury.
Mendez-Laing said he was 'devastated' and thanked fans for their messages. He also praised the side and the fans for their efforts in Yorkshire.
NM-L's absence, along with the likely loss of Junior Hoilett for the game v Arsenal next week gives Neil Warnock a selection issue but the most important thing is the recovery of NM-L and hopefully it's not too serious.
Speaking about the injury Neil Warnock said
"We won't know for a few days as it's swollen so we can't even scan it until the middle of next week probably unless it goes down before then.
"He was brave and got to it before the goalkeeper. It makes you think what is he supposed to do in that situation."
