Cardiff City are going for Alan Smith on loan.
As previously reported Sir Alex is keen on the idea, City who enquired, must be keen, all that's missing is the desire of the player to come.
As I write on Friday evening there's no decision yet on the possible loan.
Leeds have muddied the water by showing an interest as well but would the player called a "judas" by the Elland Rd fans when he left for Old Trafford, be welcomed back?
