There was concern that the young midfielder would miss three City games but that have been avoided and Joe stays with City.
Speaking before the official announcement a determined Dave Jones told the Echo
'Joe won't be going. He is a full international and a regular at under-21 level. Why ask him to step back to a lower age level?
'We cannot afford to lose Joe for three games and that won't happen.'
It's since been confirmed though that Joe will stay with City.
Excellent news for City. And as Dave Jones says, Joe is an U21 / senior international, not an U19 player anymore.
