The first Championship fixture to be televised will also be the opening game of the Championship when Sheffield Utd host Leicester City at Bramall lane on August 6th ko 12:45pm.

Sky will then show the Southampton v Wolves match at 5.15pm.

Interestingly Leeds Utd's home game with Millwall has been moved to Sunday August 8th at 12:15pm to be televised. Leeds then visit Cardiff on the Tuesday evening. So far there's no suggestion that the City v Leeds game could be affected.

Sky / Football League have announced 10 matches for TV in total so far, there will be more as 55 games are scheduled for this season. Already other clubs are reporting they have live matches that were not listed in the Football league statement.

The Carling Cup 1st round game between Southend and Southampton will be on the box with an 8pm kick off on Monday 22nd August.
