Northampton match preview

"Everything remains the same. We haven't been too clever away for a couple of months and we have to put it right. The way we will play tonight means we are going to lose sometimes, but it also gives us a greater chance of winning.

"There is a temptation to tinker with things, but for this game I am going to leave it. The way we played over the first hour against Oldham gives me encouragement to leave it alone. Our home form is not a major concern, but our away form hasn't been good enough - and both our games in hand are away."

As reported yesterday Lennie will keep faith with the 16 players on duty for last Fridays home game v Oldham.

Northampton managed a 3 - 3 draw at Crewe last weekend and of course beat City at Ninian Park at the start of the season. They are no mugs and are playing now for their new manager.

Kick off tonight is at 7:45pm and despite intermittent snowfall in Northampton today the Cobblers say that it's game on with no pitch inspection planned.

City can over take Oldham tonight and catch up on Crewe if we win and the Railwaymen lose. It's still all to play for and tonight could be the start of a potential promotion run in. City have another game against Lower opposition on Saturday when Barnsley visit Ninian Park, two wins this week could see us reclaim second spot and with it our own destiny.
