Notts police warn fans to behave

Cardiff City will be sending 'spotters' to Nottingham Forest on Saturday to root out known troublemakers before the sides' first division match.

The City fans' reputation means the fixture has been ranked Category C-plus by Notts Police - the joint-highest ranking for any league game this season, alongside Derby and Sunderland.

The spotters - who are trained to recognise Cardiff's known hooligans - will be milling around the City Ground and liaising with police both before and after the match.

And at least one official Cardiff City steward will accompany fans on each of the 30 coaches travelling from the Welsh capital on the morning of the game.

Fans must also show their official club ID cards when producing their ticket.
