Old boys re-union at Vicarage Rd

City assistant manager Terry Burton returns to his former club. Burton left Watford in September 2004 to become Lennie's assistant. The arrival of Dave Jones saw Burton keep his position as No. 2, he's regarded as one of the best coaches in the division.

Before last season ended Cardiff had brought in Neal Ardley from Vicarage Rd. His contribution to City's relegation fight helped the Bluebirds to stay up last season with Ardley setting up the majority of Cardiff's goals as the season came to and end.

Last summer with Dave Jones now at the helm City again went to Watford looking for players. Two defenders joined, Jermaine Darlington has little impact on the City first team this season but a new hero is emerging in Neil Cox.

Initially in the side at the start of the season Cox, 34, lost his place to Glenn Loovens but with Glenn picking up an injury Neil Cox has come back into the side and has been in super form alongside Darren Purse.

I would like to think that Neal, Neil and Terry (and Jermaine if he is in the squad) will all get a decent welcome back at Watford on Saturday.
