Lee Trundle and Alan Tait have been handed a one match ban after their flag waving and t shirt abuse at the Millennium Stadium.

Swansea were fined £2,000.

Swansea have fined both players a weeks wages and warned them on their future conduct.

Both players also received a police caution at the time after they paraded a Welsh flag with "F*** OFF CARDIFF" written on it and Trundle wore a t shirt depicting a Swansea player urinating on a Cardiff shirt. They are common enough amongst rival fans but not the actions of a professional footballer.

The players are set to miss the Swans opening game with Cheltenham on August 5th.
