gunnarAron Gunnarsson was stretchered off during Iceland's 4 - 2 home defeat to Slovenia. Gunarsson gave away a penalty that made it 2 - 2 in the first half before leaving the field in some discomfort with a suspected dislocated shouder.

Before the game Gunnarsson was hoping to see Iceland make it to a major finals saying “We have a real chance of qualifying for the finals in Brazil next year,” but the defeat last night has dented that ambition.

Craig Conway played the last 15 mins of Scotland's shock victory in Croatia last night.

Conway and Scotland celebrated beating the team ranked 4th in the world in the current Fifa rankings. David Marshall was an unused sub.

Kimbo Kyung played for South Korea in midweek while there's no holiday yet for Rudy Gestede who is in Africa with Benin as they face World Cup qualifiers against Algeria (June 9th) and Mali (June 16th).
