Doncaster Rovers revealed earlier today that they had signed Jon Parkin on a months loan.
But soon after the article was removed from Rovers' official website.
This evening though straight from the Beast's mouth Jon Parkin said on Twitter
It's true people. Just signed for donny for a month. Looking forward to playing some games thanks for all your well wishes.
Parkin was left out of the first team squad completely for the trip to Blackpool and is obviously not in Malky's immediate first team plans.
He scored his only goal of the season in last months Carling Cup victory over Huddersfield. Maybe a a couple of games will all parties concerned.
