Paul parry has spoken of his decision to withdraw from the Welsh squad.

"It's a personal issue that I need time to sort out," the 27-year old told the Echo.

"It an off-the-field issue it is as simple as that."

"I have always enjoyed linking up with the Welsh camp and playing for Wales and I hope to play for my country again once things are a bit clearer.

"It has been a tough decision to make and it's not been taken lightly, but certain things need to take priority.

"While I can concentrate on playing for Cardiff City, I can't do both at this moment in time and hope that the manager and people respect my decision."
