Parry's back. Paul returns to Cardiff

Parry left the Bluebirds in the summer after six seasons with City. His time at Cardiff was mixed with form that saw him become a Wales international but off field issues saw his form dip, his international career end and him becoming more of a bit part player.

Now he's moved on after thinking long and hard about leaving South Wales.

"I needed a change and coming to Preston has helped me," he said.

"You have to be careful not to get wrapped up with the occasion. The best advice I've had is to play the game rather than the occasion.

"I had six good years at Cardiff. The highlight of my career was getting to the FA Cup Final.

"I have a lot of good memories, a lot of friends there and a lot of respect for the people at Cardiff.

"They had a good start to the season but the last month has hit them hard, three defeats on the spin."

"I needed a change and coming to Preston has helped me," he said.

I wish him well at his new club but obviously hope he has a stinker today.
