"I would definitely be interested in playing for Cardiff City," said Jones.
"I really believe I have the quality to play at Premiership level for the next three or four years. But that doesn't rule out Cardiff City in my view.
"I rate them very highly with all their ambition and drive under Sam Hammam."
Jones was speaking after his current side Liverpool drew 1 - 1 at Wolves. Jones is on loan from Southampton as cover but a fit again Jerzy Dudek went straight back into the Liverpool line up.
