Pericard on trial at City

Last updated : 02 August 2009 By Michael Morris
The Cameroon born striker has been released by Stoke City. His CV is not that impressive with a decent spell at Portsmouth before injury but since then bit parts at clubs like Plymouth, Southampton and Millwall.

Pericard was convicted of perverting the course of justice in 2007 and sentenced to a spell at her majesty's pleasure.

He made an impact after coming off the bench for City today v Valencia, by winning a penalty that Ross McCormack fluffed (that's technical for cocked up).

On a potential future at City? The jury is out.
