Peter Thorne completes move to Norwich City

As sudden as we found out that Lee Bullock had gone to Hartlepool today it's the turn of Citry's record signing to leave the club.

Peter Thorne has signed a 2 year deal at Carrow Rd. According to Norwich City it's a free transfer with a clause that Cardiff will get £200,000 if Norwich get back into the Premiership in the next two years.

"I am really excited about the move," Thorne rold the official Norwich website. "It is a great opportunity to come to a Club like this.

"I am joining one hell of a squad of players and I have heard nothing but good things about the Club, from top to bottom."

Thorne has been given the No. 8 shirt.

Best of luck to Peter Thorne. It's been a pleasure to watch him play for Cardiff.

Rumours started yesterday on the MB and in less than 24 hours the player has completed his move to Norfolk. It's a shock to see your top players leave but with Thorne being one of, if not the highest earner at Ninian Park, then it's to be expected.
