The Echo reveal today that the PFA have loaned Cardiff City £2m to secure the wages of the players until the end of the season.

"THIS is the last resort really," Chief Exec Gordon Taylor told todays Echo.

"But I can confirm we are now helping out Cardiff City by paying our members. They will be paid for the next three months until the end of the season.

"We have the funds to do that and, if necessary, we will pay the players further than that initial period. We are in a position to help the club and we will do everything we can."

The Echo also claim that Michael Isaacs has invested another £500,000 into the club.

Another line in today's paper claims that Lennie has been told he will lose around 12 players in the summer including Danny Gabbidon and James Collins.

If all these goings on weren't confusing enough don't forget to add Peter Ridsdale and a potential new stadium into the mix.

There was good news this week. City did not lose any players on transfer deadline day (but reading above that looks to be just temporary, they will go at the end of the season) and we brought in two new players to help avoid relgation.

Just exactly what is going on at Ninian Park?
