John Heyda, from Ohio, presents Eddie with his award
The evening would have been a whole load better if i, Cardiff had beaten Ipswich and so claimed a play off place, or ii, Preston had not scored an 89th minute winner to keep us at risk of missing out on the play offs.

The Supporters Club put on a good show and congratulations to the organisers for seating close on 600 people for the ceremony.

The negative points? see paragraph 1, there was a slight mooted feel to the evening and 2, the food wasn't great.

On the plus side the players, management and boardroom were all in attendance and despite their being frustrations the players were happy to sign autographs and have their pictures taken with the fans who were there.

The main Cardiff City Supporters Club Player of the Year Award went to Roger Johnson for the second consecutive season.

This website again opened the procedings with the first award of the evening. Eddie Johnson, pictured with John Heyda, won the www.cardiffcity.com Magic Moment Award for his goal against Doncaster, shouts of USA USA USA rang around the place.

I spoke with Eddie afterwards, he was really appreciative of the award and a really nice guy.
