Player speculation. Jerome out? Naismith in?

David Moyes was spotted at Ninian Park last Friday watching City v Sheff Utd. It's suggested he was watching either Jason Koumas or Cameron Jerome.

While City might not want to sell the likes of Jerome, the reality is that players will come and go.

"We might have to sell people to bring in more," Dave Jones has said.

"That's what we had to do last year. There were certain players we didn't want to let go, but to survive as a football club you've got to do that.

"I want this club to grow to the next level. If that means getting rid of players for money to bring in four or five like we did at the start of the season, then that's what I'll do."

With the season ending in less than a fortnight Jones will be starting the job of building for next season.

Hopefully we'll secure the services of Jason Koumas. His season long loan is coming to an end.

With Jerome scorind 20 goals this season his value will be high and there will be interest. The speculation and will he won't he will go on throughout the summer.

As for players linked to be coming in there was a story released in Scotland that we are tracking Kilmarnock striker Steven Naismith. The youngster, who is the Scottish Young Player of the Year, is reported to have been watched by Sam Hammam. Aberdeen defender Kevin McNaughton has also been linked to the City in the Scottish press.
