The Met are very happy with the behaviour of the Cup Final crowd after an incident free occasion in North London.

There were just two football related arrests, one Cardiff fan on suspicion of assault and one Pompey fan for disorderly behaviour.

Andy Ball, a superintendent with the British Transport Police said Cardiff and Portsmouth fans should be praised.

"We were extremely pleased with the behaviour of fans, with only two arrests reported on the day," he said.

"When you're talking about more than 80,000 fans converging on London for a day of football it is really an excellent reflection on those supporters who made the trip."

Congratulations to evryone who went. Cardiff City's sometimes tarnished reputation was given a good old shine as we impressed the watching world.
