The transfer speculation season continued today with Spencer Prior being linked with a move to second division rivals Wigan while Robbie Mustoe of Middlesbrough is reported to be in a tug of love battle between Derby and Cardiff City.

Forgive my cinicism but the Prior story is based on rumour and speculation with Latics boss Paul Jewell thought to be interested in Spencer and the Mustoe story posted on TeamTalk, enough said.

Wait a day or two and Nathan Blake, Danny Coyne, Mark Hughes and Shergar will all be lined up as replacements for out best players.
